Stowe Mountain Resort is uniquely positioned in the competitive world of East Coast ski resorts. It’s natural territory and high snowfall levels make it a favorite for locals and adventure-seekers. Stowe is known for its woods, steeps and backcountry terrain available from the lifts or just a short hike away. Locals know how great Stowe’s terrain and snow conditions are, but to communicate this to the world of potential visitors was a different story. Stowe has developed their main website as a general directory to all things Stowe, with a relatively mainstream look, feel and associated content. But for the younger snowboarders and freestyle skiers, a separate website, ridestowe.com, was developed with their more adventurous sensibilities in mind.

In 2003, Legitify approached Stowe Mountain Resort with the ability to provide fresh visual and written content to their new sport specific website: ridestowe.com. The idea was to ensure that the content on ridestowe.com was continually fresh and at a level that these fickle young consumers would appreciate and relate to, deepening their connection and love of the resort. Young, adventurous customers are great at spreading the word themselves and free marketing is the best kind. Stowe was immediately interested and contracted Legitify on a yearly basis to provide photos, video and written content for ridestowe.com. We’ve been developing and uploading fresh content to ridestowe.com for many seasons, and we’ve recently begun providing similar visual and written content for Stowe’s main website. Legitify excels at shooting, editing and delivering high quality, compressed photos and video for websites. We couple this ability with copywriting and brand strategy to effectively market the riding quality of Stowe Mountain Resort.
