Page McConnell, former keyboardist of the band Phish, has been involved in the world of demolition derby and car racing for years. At the end of 2004 he released a live DVD of his band Vida Blue at the legendary Fillmore Theater. Page hired Legitify to shoot the 2004 Enduro Race at Thunder Road in Barre, Vermont for a bonus track video. The Enduro race is a 200-lap race on a quarter-mile track, where almost anything goes. Legitify shot the event with multiple broadcast quality cameras at 24 frames per second, and a quality helmet cam. Page was interested in showing his audience the driver’s point of view so we mounted our helmet cam to his driver’s helmet. All of our footage was used in the final production on the DVD and the Thunder Road Bonus Track was one of the most popular features on the DVD release.
