Fresh Coffee Now Website Redeployment

Fresh Coffee Now has been a client of Legitify’s for over a year now. Back then, we took what was a template internet storefront and completely redesigned the site and built a custom e-commerce package to power the online coffee sales. We also integrated a brand design package that included custom functionality to drive home the company’s mantra, “Your International Coffee Passport”. Since November, 2004, FCN’s website has generated increasing sales and thousands of happy customers enjoying freshly roasted gourmet coffee. Legitify has also been managing a consistent Internet marketing program including email marketing, Pay-per-click campaigns with both Google Adwords and Yahoo Search, and constant updates to the content of the website. With the success of the site and his maintenance and marketing handled, Matt set about to open the Blue Star Café, in Winooski, Vermont. The new storefront will house FCN’s coffee roaster, serve as his main packing and shipping facility, as well as serve gourmet food, coffee, beer and wine from breaksfast through dinner time.

Matt Sutte has been so happy with our involvement with the site and his company, American Roasting Company, he’s asked Legitify to become his partner in a growing enterprise. In return, Legitify decided to completely redesign freshcoffeenow.com in order to reflect a new partnership and make new and returning customer’s shopping experiences that much smoother. Legitify relied on customer feedback and current website analytics to decide what features needed to be most prominent on the home page and subsequent pages. Our overall goal was to focus the user on the most important aspect of the site, the convenient purchase of gourmet coffee, online. Detailed information about each coffee was researched, written and edited. New coffee images were optimized and placed, and a brand new site design and style sheets were completely integrated into the e-commerce system. We added the Roastmaster’s Coffee Club, whereby our customers can sign up to receive automatic shipments of their favorite gourmet coffees every month. We added specially designed blended coffees, with new copy and images. Overall, Legitify worked to improve the content, site design and flow of the e-commerce experience to help sell more coffee. It’s already worked, with some of FCN’s largest coffee sales to date this month and dozens of new, happy Fresh Coffee Now customers.
